Google is defining the browser like this: "Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier."

I download and install the browser. For a BETA it doesn't look bad. It looks like a mix of FF, Opera and Safari, but it brings some new tools.

One of them "crash control" it looks interesting giving you the option to close just one tab instead of the whole browser when one of the websites is creating you problems.

Another tool that I find promissing is the "incognito mode" which allowes yout to browse websites whitout them to show in the history. However i didn't figure out if the websites are cached somwehere or not. If they cached then is not that incognito

The rest of the features like tabbed browsing, instant bookmarks, importing bookmarks and settings from other browsers, safe browsing, shortcuts and downloads are similar to the ones on the competition.

Try to download and test it. http://www.google.com/chrome

I was surprised but all the sites i tested under chrome didn't give any errors If google puts something in their minds something amaizing will result ...

Probably they are working on it. I remember that 1 year ago they were talking about an OS to run from their servers instead of your computer. I don't know how helpful is going to be for developers, designers, but for the average internet user is going to be heaven.

I got to love this little browser. It might still be buggy, but has some features that are not in any other browser.I can't wait to see what other features they would add. Cheers.
